This piece is in reaction to the conflict in Gaza. “We walk on the shattered glass of our broken windows; we walk on stones that once were a house.” From a poem by Nadine Murtaja an 18-year-old from Central Gaza.

Description: We walk on the shattered glass of our broken windows, we walk on stones that once were a house (poem by Nadine Murtaja). Over 47,000 people have died in the conflict for land and power in Gaza. Will the ceasefire bring peace?
